Actress urges parents to adopt a more understanding approach, a morning show of a local private TV unveils
LAHORE: (UrduPoint/Pakistan Point News-June 14th, 2025) Pakistani actress and model Sunita Marshall has said that it's normal for children to have boyfriends or girlfriends at a young age, urging parents to adopt a more understanding approach.
Speaking during a morning show on a private tv channel, Sunita addressed a range of topics, including friendships and relationships among children.
She said, "In our society, men tend to be a bit hot-tempered and don’t always listen to their wives. My children are still young and don’t have boyfriends or girlfriends yet — or at least I’m not aware if they do."
Sunita further shared, "Sometimes, I whisper in my husband Hassan Ahmed’s ear that having a girlfriend or boyfriend at this age is normal."
She added, “I’m talking specifically about households where husbands don’t listen — in such cases, the wife should gently and lovingly make them understand over time, so that if they ever find out something about their children suddenly, it doesn’t come as a shock.”
