Dr. Junaid Ali Shah Elected Unanimously President Of KHA

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th August, 2016) : Dr. Junaid Ali Shah has been elected with consensus the new president of Karachi Hockey Association (KHA). Dr. Shah replaces MQM's Wasay Jalil because of his political engagements and non-availability due to foreign tours that was affecting the work as KHA president, said a statement issued by the KHA here.
It said that the association in a meeting also removed Muhammad Farooq from the post of Secretary of the association.
The decision about the appointment of a new secretary will be taken in the next meeting, it added. Meanwhile, former secretary of Karachi Hockey Association, Gulfaraz has congratulated Junaid Ali Shah over his appointment, and expressed the hope that he will play his proactive role for the promotion of the sport.
