New price of per tola gold settles at Rs358, 400 in local markets of Pakistan
KARACHI: (UrduPoint/Pakistan Point News-June 5th, 2025) The price of gold in Pakistan on Thursday witnessed a sharp increase, with the cost per tola rising by thousands of rupees in a single day.
All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association said that the price of gold per tola surged by Rs4,300 and reached a new high of Rs358,400 today. This increase has brought considerable changes to the gold market, affecting both consumers and traders alike.
The association further reported that the price of 10 grams of gold has also seen a notable rise, increasing by Rs3,687 to reach Rs307,270.
In the international market, gold prices have been following a similar trend. The price of gold per ounce has risen by 43 dollars, now standing at 3,400 Dollars per ounce.
On June 2, 2025, the gold prices in Pakistan recorded a major surge, with an increase of over Rs5,000 per tola amid a global uptrend in precious metal rates.
The latest data released by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association showed that the price of 24-karat gold per tola rose by Rs5,900, and settled at Rs353,100.
Similarly, the rate of 10 grams of 24-karat gold jumped by Rs5,058, and reached Rs302,726.
On the global front, the international price of gold increased by $59, and now stood at $3,347 per ounce.
