Price of 24-karat gold per tola dropped by Rs1, 400 and settled at Rs347, 200 in Pakistan’s local markets
KARACHI: (UrduPoint/Pakistan Point News-May 31st, 2025) The gold prices witnessed a downward trend on Friday, both globally and in Pakistan's local bullion markets, offering slight relief to potential buyers.
The market data showed that the price of gold in the international bullion market fell by $14 per ounce, bringing the new global rate to $3,288 per ounce.
Following the international trend, local gold prices in Pakistan also declined. The price of 24-karat gold per tola dropped by Rs1, 400 and settled at Rs347, 200. Likewise, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs1, 200, and reached Rs297,668.
Silver prices also saw a dip. The rate of silver per tola fell by Rs24 to Rs3, 356, while 10 grams of silver decreased by Rs21, now priced at Rs2,962.
