Abu Dhabi: (Pakistan Point News - 29 May, 2025) Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, was warmly welcomed by H.E. Mohamed Al Hammadi, Director-General of the Emirates News Agency (WAM), during his visit to WAM Headquarters in Abu Dhabi.
The two sides held a constructive meeting to explore new avenues of bilateral collaboration, particularly in the area of news and content sharing. The discussion followed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) previously signed between WAM and the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP).
Both parties also deliberated on initiatives to promote the cultural richness and tourism potential of Pakistan and the UAE, with the aim of strengthening people-to-people connections.
The meeting was attended by senior officials from both sides, reflecting the commitment to enhanced media ties and mutual cooperation.
