KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Oct, 2017 ) :As many as 1,108 accused have been apprehended and 910 cases lodged against the `Gutka mafia' in Sindh. This was pointed out by the spokesman of the Sindh police here on Wednesday in a report of the police's performance in the drive against Gutka mafia up to October 9.
It was informed that from September 1 to October 9 in the drive against Gutka in all police ranges, 1,108 accused had been arrested in 910 cases and a large quantity of Gutka, `Mawa' packets recovered. The Karachi police had arrested 402 accused in 309 cases and 407 kg unpacked and 3,341 bags of Gutka recovered. APP/rak/msk
