'Pakistan Zindabad' Outome Of Numerous Sacrifices: Barjees Tahir

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th August, 2016) : Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan Chaudhry Muhammad Barjees Tahir has said the slogan "Pakistan Zindabad" is an outcome of numerous sacrifices rendered by our forefathers. Addressing the Pakistan Zindabad Conference organised by the Pakistan Muslim League-N Labour Wing at Alhamara here on Friday, he said it was a responsibility of PML-N workers to make people aware of conspiracies being carried out by certain elements to create hurdles in progress and development of the country. He said 180 million people had elected Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and those who believed in democracy must wait for the next general elections. Why certain people found short cuts or back doors to come to power, he questioned, and said people would decide in the next general election to whom they will vote. The minister said one should ask the importance of freedom from people of Palestine and held Kashmir.
He said if referendum could be carried out in Eastearn Sudan and Southeren Sudan why not in Kashmir, adding that UNO must carry out referendum in Kashmir as per its resolutions. Barjees Tahir said Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif had highlighted Kashmir issue in the best effective way and this thing disturbed India.
He said some people were upset on US $ 46 billion invetment in Pakistan adding that a huge revenue worth of billion of Dollars would come in Pakistan every year with the completeion of the CPEC. Indian agents and other elemens were frigthened from progress and development of the country. Provincial Minister for Labour and Human Resource Raja Ashfaq Sarwar said billions of Dollar revenue would be earned when ships from all over the world would stop at the Gwadar Port. He said certain elements were afraid of positive outcomes of the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) which would make the PML-N leadership more popular among the masses. He said China showed trust on the PML-N leadership and with the grace of Almighty Allah the work on the CPEC had started in the tenure of the PML-N government. He said the country was moving towards progress and some elements following an agenda of external lobby was creating hurdles in progress and prosperity of the country. Speaking on the ocassion, PML-N leader Khawaja Imran Nazir said with the completion of enery projects on which work was underway electricity would be available in the country. "The CPEC is a game changer for coming generations", he added. Parliamentary Secretary Rana Muhammad Arshad and others also spoke.
