PESHAWAR (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -26th Augst,2016) : The lawmakers of Khyber Pakthunkhwa here Friday highly eulogized the address of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif at the inaugural session of meeting of Finance Ministers of South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) countries and termed it inclusive in all respect and reflected aspirations of people. They said PM has covered all the local, regional and international issues especially related to SAARC countries in very effective manner and has presented workable solutions for all economic and social problems.
The PM has boldly highlighted the reforms and achievements made by his Governments for economic stability and promotion of banking sectors in very comprehensive manner. Sardar Aurganzaib Nalota, Parliamentary Leader of PMLN in KP Assembly told APP that Prime Minister address was very comprehensive, wide ranging and reflected aspirations of masses. He said PM has covered all the major social and economic issues faced by people of the region and called for making the organization more efficient, practical and responsive to peoples' expectations. Nalota said poverty, economic imbalances, climate change and illiteracy were the major challenges to SAARC countries and these ills could only be addressed through close coordination and cooperation among SAARC states. He said economic cooperation among SAARC countries was imperative to improve the socio-economic conditions of marginalized communities. The PMLN leader said a more effective cooperation among SAARC countries was required to counter challenges such as climate change, global warming, spread of diseases, illiteracy and poverty to the region.

Rushad Khan said PMLN Government achievements was highly appreciated by world donor agencies and monetary institutions. He said the confidence of international investors were restored by PMLN Government and 46billion $ huge Chinese investment under CPEC was a clear example of it. He said a network of Motorways and Highways are being constructed in the country while new economic zones and completion of energy projects under CPEC would further expedite pace of economic and industrial development in Pakistan. Owing to Govt's economic reforms, he said, banking sector has achieved stability with higher earnings and its trickle down effect of macro-economic stability was benefitting the masses. Rushad Khan expressed the hope that the delegates would come up with useful recommendations to make the organisation more viable and effective and the deliberations on economic and financial cooperation, custom and taxation would definitely give more meaning to the SAARC economies.
