ISLAMABAD,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -26th Augst,2016) : Pro-freedom leaders and organizations, in Indian held Kashmir, have termed the visit of Indian Home Minister, Rajnath Singh, to the territory as a futile exercise aimed at misleading the international community by giving an impression that New Delhi is serious about situation in the Valley. The All Parties Hurriyet Conference in a statement issued in Srinagar said, "It is the same denial by India which doesn't accept the fact that people of Kashmir don't want to live under its forcible occupation and want to decide their future through exercise of right to self-determination, a basic right endorsed by the United Nations and agreed upon by India through many resolutions,"KMS reported.
It said, the future of entire South Asia will remain in danger if India continues to deny this right to the Kashmiris. "The youth of Kashmir are mature enough to decide their future and don't need any lecture from people who are in-charge of killings, blinding, torturing and maiming them for life," it added. The spokesman of the Hurriyet forum led by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq in a statement in Srinagar said that Kashmir was not a law and order or administrative issue.
"India has to read writing on the wall and listen to what Kashmiris are saying. It has to recognize Kashmir as a dispute and resolve it through dialogue with Pakistan and the Kashmiris in line with the relevant UN resolutions," he added.
