PCB Reschedules Two Fixtures Of Ongoing T20 Cup

RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -25th Augst,2016) : Pakistan cricket Board (PCB) has rescheduled two matches of the ongoing the Cool & Cool presents Jazz National T20 Cup 2016. "Yes, we've rescheduled Sunday's matches between Karachi Whites and Peshawar and between Islamabad and Lahore Whites," a PCB official told APP. He said the matches had been rescheduled on the request of law enforcement agencies (LEAs) as they said they would have some other engagements on that day and would not be able to provide foolproof security. "Now one match of the two fixtures will be held on Friday, while the other will take place on Monday", he said. A total of eight teams are participating in the event, whose initial 14 matches of the event will be held at the Pindi Stadium Rawalpindi, while the remaining 17 fixtures, including two semi-finals and final will take place at Multan Cricket Stadium.
Shakeel Shaikh, Member Board of Governors Pakistan Cricket Board said that all the arrangements to hold the tournament in a befitting had been completed.
He said highly competitive and thrilling contests are expected to take place among country's top T20 teams. "It is for the first time that such a great tournament is being held in two different cities and the board deserves appreciation for that," he said.
