35 Shopkeepers Fined; Four Truckloads Goods Of Encroachers Confiscated

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -25th Augst,2016) : Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA) of Rawal Town under its grand operation against encroachments has confiscated four truckloads goods of 41 shopkeepers while 35 shopkeepers involved in encroachments were imposed fines. According to TMA, Rawal Town spokesman, TMA, Enforcement staff under the supervision of Town Officer Regulation, Superintendent and inspectors conducted raids at Murree Road, Raja Bazar, Liaquat Road, Commercial Market, Rawal Road and other areas and imposed fines on 35 encroachers while four truckloads goods were also confiscated and shifted to TMA store.
He said that on the special directives of Administrator Rawal Town and Town Municipal Officer (TMO), raids are being conducted and the enforcement staff is taking action in accordance with the law against the encroachers.
A number of shopkeepers have also been issued warning to remove all the encroachments. The authorities concerned have urged the traders to cooperate with the TMA administration and all the encroachments should be removed on their own otherwise no relaxation will be given to anyone.
