Intermittent heavy rain trips more than 80 feeders in Lahore

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -25th Augst,2016) : Heavy rain has tripped more than 80 feeders and inundated low-lying areas in Lahore. Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has warned that heavy downpour may trigger flash floods and landslides in vulnerable areas of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir, reported a private news channel.

Electricity in different areas has got affected as more than 80 feeders tripped and it has also created difficulties for the locals. The local authorities said that process to restore power has been started in the affected localities.
