Hong Kong Stocks End Flat

HONG KONG, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -25th Augst,2016) - Hong Kong stocks closed flat Thursday, with energy firms again hit by weak oil prices, while traders moved cautiously ahead of a much-anticipated speech by Federal Reserve boss Janet Yellen at the end of the week.
The Hang Seng Index ended marginally higher, edging up 6.09 points to 22,826.87. The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index declined 0.57 percent, or 17.55 points while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, lost 0.55 percent, or 11.26 points, to 2,019.02.
