Training Workshop For Officials Of District Administration Concludes

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -25th Augst,2016) : A two-day training workshop for the officials of district administration concluded here on Thursday. The workshop was organized on the directives of Commissioner Karachi, Aijaz Ahmed Khan for enhancing the professional capabilities of officers and to increase their legal awareness, said a statement.
The concluding ceremony of workshop organized with the cooperation of Sindh Public Procurement Regulatory Authority, was attended by Additional Commissioner Karachi-II, Rubina Asif, Director Administration and Finance SPPRA, Javed Sibgatullah Mehar, Director, Planning, Development and Environment for Commissioner Karachi, Syed Muhammad Shakeeb, Director Media Management for Commissioner Karachi, Shabih Siddiqui and other senior officers. Additional Commissioner Karachi, Rubina Asif addressing the concluding ceremony said keeping in view the increasing responsibilities of district administration officers, it is mandatory that they should be well trained.
She added that the training workshops will play vital role in increasing professionalism in officers, and the Commissioner Karachi has specially ordered to keep conducting such workshops. She said that such workshops will be helpful in making the procurement process more transparent. Director Administration and Finance SPPRA, Javed Sibgatullah Mehar on the occasion appreciated the participants of workshop and thanked the Commissioner Karachi for organizing the workshop. Later, Additional Commissioner Karachi-II, Rubina Asif distributed the certificates among the participants including Assistant Commissioner, Revenue Karachi, Abdul Sattar, Assistant Commissioner, Murad Memon, Superintendent, Commissioner Office, Irfan Hussain and others
