India urged to stop brutalities in occupied Kashmir

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -25th Augst,2016) : The leaders of business community have urged India to stop its brutalities and barbarism in the territory. According to KMS, the Chairman of the Kashmir Economic Alliance (KEA), Muhammad Yasin Khan, in an interview said that the leaders of traders community had decided to boycott meeting with Indian Home Minister, Rajnath Singh.

He said that Singh's visit a month ago had not changed anything in the Valley. "Instead, massive Indian forces' personnel have been rushed to the Valley," he said. Muhammad Yasin Khan said that the trade body wanted India to hold a meaningful dialogue with the genuine leadership of Kashmir, which is none else than pro-freedom leaders. The President of Federation Chamber of Industries Kashmir, Muhammad Ashraf Mir, said that the business community had little role and the Indian government should talk to the pro-freedom leadership.

"For the last 70 years we have been suffering. Traders have little role to play. We have a leadership. I received a call from divisional commissioner's office asking me if I want to see the Indian Home Minister? Why should I go see him?" he asked. "If we meet him (Singh), what do we bargain for? We won't bargain our business for 80-year-old or 5-year-old," he added. Member of Kashmir Civil Society and Developmental Studies, Shakeel Qalandar, said, "We decided not to meet him (Rajnath Singh) till the Government of India announces a serious dialogue. India has to accept whose writ runs here.

Otherwise it is futile meeting them." "We have a condition that India should accept Kashmir as a dispute and that it is a political issue and has to be resolved politically. All Haywaniyat, barbariyat and Jabriyat has to end. India is at war with people in Kashmir," he added.
