ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -25th Augst,2016) : The Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Syed Ali Gilani, in Indian held Kashmir, has said that the Kashmiri people will not surrender before India even if it sends its whole army to suppress their ongoing freedom movement. Syed Ali Gilani was addressing over phone from Srinagar huge pro-freedom rallies at Verinag in Islamabad and in Dogripora area of Pulwama.
"Indian armed forces' presence swell with each passing day and this is only to break our will but let me make it clear that even if India sends whole of its army with its full might, we will never yield to their military aggression," he said, reported Kashmir Media Service. Our six lac people have been martyred, thousands of women molested, more than six hundred graveyards and ten thousand people disappeared in custody, such huge investment has made our movement priceless and it cannot be sold out for petty personnel gains, the APHC Chairman told the mass pro-freedom gatherings.
Syed Ali Gilani while commenting on the prevailing situation in occupied Kashmir said that for the last 48 days, the will and determination of Kashmiris had unnerved the Indian rulers and they used every method to weaken this movement.
He termed the 1, 40, 000 job package to the Kashmiri youth announced by India as nothing but an eyewash and a drama just to mislead and misguide the youth, as they (Indian rulers) knew that the youth were leading this movement from the front. Amid intense pro-freedom slogans, the APHC Chairman pointed out that such moves were only to trap the youth and detract them from the present movement otherwise they were least bothered for their welfare.
However, he said, our youth are mature enough to get to the roots of these political gimmicks and will not succumb to the flunkies of Indian despotism.
