Govt Determined To Carry Out Massive Development Projects In
Balochistan: PM

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th August, 2016) : Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday said the Federal government was determined to carry out massive infrastructure development and welfare projects in Balochistan for improving the standard of living of the residents of the province.
The province of Balochistan would reap maximum benefits of CPEC, the Prime Minister said while talking to Chief Minister Balochistan Sardar Sanaullah Zehri who called on him at the PM House here. The Chief Minister apprised the Prime Minister on the overall security situation in the province, particularly steps taken by the provincial government for maintaining peace and security of the civilians after the Quetta attack.
The Chief Minister briefed the Prime Minister on the pace of ongoing development projects and welfare schemes in different parts of Balochistan. The Prime Minister said that Balochistan was very close to his heart.
He said peace in Balochistan has been restored as a result of countless sacrifices of military and civilian security personnel, and peace loving people of the province. "We will never allow the enemies of peace and development to disrupt the process of progress and development in the province," the Prime Minister stated.
