Lawyers demand MQM chief trial under sedition charges

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th August, 2016) : A large number of lawyers on Wednesday called for trying Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Altaf Hussain under sedition charges for his anti-Pakistan and anti-army tirade. They held a rally, led by the District Bar Association, at Kutchery Intersection to condemn the MQM chief.

They also burnt Altaf Hussain in effigy. Later, DBA President Azeem-ul-Haq and General Secretary Imran Khakwani addressed the protesters.
