LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th August, 2016) : Evacuee Trust Property board (ETPB) Chairman Siddiqul Farooq Wednesday said politics of agitation had been rejected by people as the PML-N government was vigorously working on various projects to boost the national economy.
Talking to APP, he said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chairman Dr Tahirul Qadri were creating hurdles in the way of development and prosperity of the country. "The agenda of the PTI and PAT chairmen is to create a state of anarchy in the country", he added. He said the masses were quite intelligent and they would not believe in hollow slogans of Imran Khan and Tahirul Qadri.
He said the Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) government had inherited several issues, including terrorism and energy shortfall, adding that Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif was taking all possible measures to resolve these issues on a priority basis. "The prime minister will resolve the energy crisis before 2018 elections and the party would again get new mandate in the next polls", he said. To another question, he said the operation Zarb-e-Azb had achieved significant successes, adding that almost terrorism had been eliminated.
The PML-N government believed in service of the masses and had started development projects to help boost economy, he added.
