Jamshoro-Sehwan Road Being Dualized To Minimise Accidents

ISLAMABAD,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -24th Augst,2016) : National Highway Authority (NHA) is making concert measures to dualize Jamshoro-Sehwan Sharif National Highway road in order to minimise chances of accidents. According to an official source, although the road is in good condition but prone to accidents for being single. He said NHA was preparing making measures to overcome these issues. As part of such efforts, he said a feasibility report and PC-I was being prepared to make the highway more safer by making the road dualized. He said the shortage of policemen issue had already been taken up with concerned officials to deploy more traffic wardens on the road.
Efforts were being made to recruit more staff which would help resolve shortage issue of traffic wardens on the avenue, he added. He said, National Highways and Motorway Police (NH&MP) was making effective measures to regulate traffic, ensure safety and provide assistance to road users. As part of efforts to ensure safety, the official said 138 speed checking cameras had been provided to all zones of NH&MP and over speeding was being checked with modern gadgets and cameras on day and night basis.
