National T20 Cup To Begin On Thursday

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -24th Augst,2016) : The Cool & Cool presents Jazz National T20 Cup 2016 will roll into action here at Pindi Stadium on Thursday with two teams from the same region - Karachi locking horns in the opener. Karachi Region Whites will take on Karachi Region Blues in the opening match of the event, which will saw a total of eight teams clashing each other in the event.
The first match will commence at 4:00 PM. In the second match, Lahore Region Whites will face Lahore Region Blues at 8:00 PM. The first 14 matches of the event will be held at the Pindi Satdium, while the remaining 17 fixtures, including two semi-finals and final will take place at Multan cricket Stadium.
Shakeel Shaikh, Member Board of Governors Pakistan Cricket Board told APP on Wednesday that all the arrangements to hold the tournament in a befitting had been completed.
He said highly competitive and thrilling contests are expected to take place among country's top T20 teams. "It is for the first time that such a great tournament is being held in two different cities and the board deserves appreciation for that," he said.
