FIRs Lodged Against MQM Chief, 14 Others

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -24th Augst,2016) : Artillery Madan Police Station has registered two different cases here Tuesday against anti-Pakistan speech by London-based Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain and for inciting party activists to indulge in violence in Saddar area of the metropolis on Monday.
According to a police spokesman, 15 persons including MQM chief Altaf Hussain and Farooq Sattar have been nominated in the FIRs.The cases pertained to anti-Pakistan speech, arson, attack on a private tv channel and police personnel.
The sections of Anti-Terrorism Act and Telegraph Act are also included in the FIRs.
