Former film star says she and her husband are casting votes in the US 2024 Presidential election
NEW YORK: (UrduPoint/Pakistan Point News-Nov 6th, 2024) Pakistani actress Reema exercised her right to vote in the 2024 U.S. Presidential Election. Sharing the experience on Instagram, she posted a photo with her husband, Dr. Tariq Shahab, taken at the polling station. Reema also uploaded a story showing her casting her vote, captioning it with, “Tariq and I are casting our votes in the 2024 Presidential Elections,” and using hashtags #Vote and #USElections.
Her post quickly drew attention from fans, who filled the comments with questions, wondering whether she cast her vote for the Republican candidate, Donald Trump, or the Democratic candidate, Kamala Harris. Reema, however, did not reveal whom she supported.
Speculation continued in the comments, with some followers guessing that Reema might have voted for Trump. Reema married Pakistani-American cardiologist Dr. Tariq Shahab in 2011, moved to the United States, and later obtained U.S. citizenship. The couple has a son, Ali Shahab.
