Tokyo Stocks Up By Break, Track Wall Street Rally

TOKYO, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -24th Augst,2016) - Tokyo stocks climbed Wednesday morning, tracking a rally on Wall Street and markets in Europe with automakers including Toyota and Honda recording sharp jumps. The benchmark Nikkei 225 index rose 0.50 percent, or 83.02 points, to 16,580.38 by the break, while the broader Topix index of all first-section shares advanced 0.60 percent, or 7.80 points, to 1,305.36.
