Double Capacity Power Transformer Being Installed At Johar Abad Grid

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23th August, 2016) : Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) is installing double capacity power transformers at 132-KV Johar Abad grid station. FESCO spokesman said here on Tuesday that earlier power transformer of 20/26 MVA was working at Johar Abad grid station whereas now this power transformer would be replaced with 40-MVA capacity power transformer and for this purpose, power supply from Watto, Jibbi, Hamoka, Seth Shahani, Katha Road, Fowara Chowk, Sandal and Sargodha Road feeders of this grid station will also remain suspended for 24 hours from 5:00 a.

on August 24 (Wednesday) to 5:00 a.m. on August 25 (Tuesday). The installation of double capacity power transformer will not only redress the complaints of low voltage but also help in provision of new domestic, commercial and industrial connections from this grid station, he added.
