AJK To Construct 108 Km Long Tourism Corridor

The government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir has planned to construct a state-of-the-art 108 kilometers long tourism corridor with an aim to improve road infrastructure for boosting tourism in the region
MUZAFFARABAD, Sept 14 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Sep, 2017 ) : The government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir has planned to construct a state-of-the-art 108 kilometers long tourism corridor with an aim to improve road infrastructure for boosting tourism in the region.
Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan told a renowned investor in tourism sector Malik Khalid that the proposed tourism corridor will link different tourists' sites and districts like Muzaffarabad, Sudhan Gali, Lasdana, Toli peer, Banjosa and others through a double way road.
He said besides this, Islamabad, Lohar tupa expressway will be extended to Muzaffarabad while another highway from Mansehra to Mangla linking Muzaffarabad, Sudhonoti, Kotli and Mirpur districts was part of the CPEC (China Pakistan economic corridor).
He said by completion of these projects, AJK would be a hub of tourism having huge opportunities of investment in this sector and the government would extend one window facilitation to investors.
