Rs 8 bln earmarked for reconstruction of damaged educational institutions: Senate told

Replying to a question during Question Hour, the minister said 2798 Educational institutions (out of 5571 Education sector projects) were reported as damaged or destroyed in 2005 earthquake in Azad Jammu & Kashmir

(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Sep, 2017 ) Replying to a question during Question Hour, the minister said 2798 Educational institutions (out of 5571 education sector projects) were reported as damaged or destroyed in 2005 earthquake in Azad Jammu & Kashmir.

He said 1382 institutions have been reconstructed out of 2,798 damaged educational institutions. Some 739 schools were at various stages of reconstruction, he added. He said remaining 677 schools were at designing and tendering stage. APP/raz-muk/kmd � 17:55/18:20/18:20
