100pc Recovery Of Taxes, Public Facilitation Top Priority:

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23th August, 2016) : Newly appointed Director Excise & Taxation Multan region Ashiq Hussain Shah has said that 100 percent recovery of taxes and public facilitation is his top priority. Talking to APP here on Tuesday after assuming charge of his office, Ashiq Hussain said that result oriented steps would be taken to facilitate masses and issues of public and officials would be resolved.
He said that shortage of staff was main issue of the office and nine computer operators has been appointed at property tax department adding that efforts being made for more appointments on remaining vacant posts.
The director added that provincial government has made a law on use of illegal and fake number plates and the people involved in making fake number plates would be treated under criminals offence. Earlier, he visited Lodhran excise office and chaired a meeting with the officials.
He also chaired a meeting with officials of Multan office and directed them to utilize all possible resources for public facilitation.
