Journalists stage protest against MQM Chief

SUKKUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23th August, 2016) -- The journalists community in Sukkur staged a protest demonstration against Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) workers for attacking media houses in Karachi on Monday. The protest was staged on Tuesday in front of Sukkur Press Club in which journalists from tv channels and newspapers participated.

The protesters chanted slogans against MQM chief Altaf Hussain and demanded of the government to arrest the culprits involved in the incident. The attacks on media houses were widely condemned by politicians, social activists, leaders of the trade unions and general public of the Sukkur and Larkana divisions.
