Karachi To Get 500 New Buses

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23th August, 2016) : Sindh Minister for Transport, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah has said that 500 new buses will be launched in Karachi. Preparations are underway to brief the Sindh Chief Minister in this regard and the project will be finalized after approval from the Chief Minister, said a statement issued here on Tuesday. The Transport Minister expressed these views during a meeting at the office of Secretary Transport. The meeting was attended by Secretary Transport, Taha Farooqi, Director General, Karachi Mass Transit Cell, Asadullah Shah, Director Media Management, Muhammad Shabih Siddiqui and other concerned officials.
Secretary Transport Taha Farooqi briefed the meeting about the preparations for project.
DG Mass Transit Cell, Asadullah Shah informed the meeting about routes of the buses. Minister for Transport Syed Nasir Hussain Shah directed the officials to take all stake holders in confidence in this regard.
