NBF Issued 20,000 Membership Cards

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23th August, 2016) : The National Book Foundation (NBF) has issued as many as 20,000 membership cards, an NBF official said. "The members will be entitled to purchase books at 50% discount from the bookstalls on Foundation's Panel.
NBF shall offer 55% discount to the members at its own outlets," official said. The foundation would open its Readers' Club membership in a few weeks to encourage and promote book culture among the public. The scheme will be launched in all major cities.
Membership Form can be obtained on payment of Rs.
10 personally from the Incharge Readers Club of respective cities at the following addresses from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Copy of National Identity Card and Two photographs (1"x I ") arc required. Membership form can also be downloaded from NBFs website www.nbf.org.pk, he said. He said that apart from Readers' Club, the NBF is also running a number of programmes to encourage the youth to read books.
