The Prime Minister urged ministries to enhance their performance, stressing that the goals set by the global lender cannot be met through mere words.
He made these remarks while chairing the cabinet meeting in Islamabad on Wednesday.
Shehbaz highlighted the importance of self-responsibility in reaching economic objectives and called for close cooperation between institutions and provinces to achieve these goals.
He also ordered immediate relief on electricity bills, stressing the urgency of improving electricity transmission lines and addressing electricity theft to save substantial costs.
In the meeting, Shehbaz emphasized the need for stringent security measures during Muharram.
He described his recent visits to Tajikistan and Kazakhstan, along with his meetings with Russian President Putin and discussions in China, as productive.
Acknowledging the challenging state of Pakistan, Shehbaz reaffirmed his focus on taking decisive action.
