Anti-Congo Drive Launched In Hazara Division

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -23rd Augst,2016) : Livestock department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has launched anti-Congo campaign in Hazara Division to prevent cattles from Congo virus. For this purpose, teams have been constituted to spray Congo killing vaccine in all the cattle markets of Battagram, Mansehra, Abbottabad and Haripur, reported a private news channel.
District Director Livestock Dr.
Abdul Wahid Alvi has said 19 people have been died of Congo disease in the country. He added that the campaign would continue till Eid Al-Baqar and all the butchers were also informed about taking precautionary measures in this regard. Health Experts say that Congo virus usually transfer from cattle to human beings.
