Market Committee Issues Price List Of Vegetables, Fruits

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -23rd Augst,2016) : The Islamabad Market Committee on Tuesday issued the daily price list of vegetables and fruits. According to a spokesman, the rate list of vegetables in Islamabad except for Jinnah Super, Super and Kohsar Markets is as under: Potato per kilogram is Rs 38, Onion Rs 30, Tomato 40, Ginger Rs 90, Garlic (China) Rs 275, Garlic Desi 255, Lemon Rs 100, Lady Finger Rs 48, Green Zucchini Rs 60, Pumpkin Rs 45, Brinjal Rs 33, Peas Rs 160, Farsh Bean Rs 65, Tanda Desi Rs 75, Cucumber Rs 44, Capsicum Rs 78/55, Green Chilli Rs 48, Cauliflower Rs 88/65, Cabbage Rs 45, Bitter gourd Rs 54, Spinach Rs 30/20, Radish Rs 28, Turnip Rs 60, Yam Rs 52, Maroo Rs 54, Carrot Rs 115, Chicken Rs 117 and Egg per dozen Rs 105.

Likewise, he said that rates of fruits per kilogram of high and medium quality in Islamabad are as follows: Apple Gaja Rs 80/50, Apple China Rs 192/160, Apple New Zealand Rs 255/225, Banana Pak Rs 70/45, Pear China Rs 155/130, Grapes 150/130, Gava Rs 80/50, Peer Desi Rs 76/50, Peach Rs 90/65, Mango Najri Rs 70/55, Mango Nawabpuri Rs 110/80, Mango Chaunsa White Rs 120/85, Mango Chaunsa Black Rs 56/40 and Mango Ratool Rs 110/75. The spokesman has asked all the people to follow this list and inform authorities at 051-4867762 in case of any compliant against shopkeepers.
