Modi's Statement Condemned Across Azad Kashmir

MUZAFFARABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th August, 2016) : Condemnation day was observed on Monday throughout Azad Kashmir against the remarks of Indian Premier Nerrendera Modi about Balochistan and Azad Kashmir during his speech on republican day. A rally was organized by Kashmir Liberation Cell in front of press club which was addressed by Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider, representative of All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) Ghulam Muhammad Safi and other leaders. AJK Premier while addressing the rally said the Indian Prime Minister was frustrated due to recent uprising of the people in occupied Kashmir against Indian oppression. He said the people of occupied Kashmir had rendered unprecedented sacrifices and Indian forces could not discourage the movement despite the use of brutal force.

He said Modi had tried to divert the attention of world community from the Indian atrocities in held Kashmir by giving such false statements but was badly failed to achieve his target. He said the people of Jammu and Kashmir were demanding their just right to self determination which was guaranteed by the international community through UN resolution. He demanded the international community to take a cognition of Indian atrocities and specially use of pellet guns by Indian forces in IOK and said that was the clear violation of UN charter.
