Labour, Manpower Adviser Expresses Dismay Over Absence Of Officers, Staff

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22th August, 2016) : Adviser to Sindh Chief Minister on Labour and Manpower, Senator Saeed Ghani Monday visited the offices of the Senior Medical Officer City and expressed dismay over the absence of officers and staff. He checked the attendance of the officers and the staff and went round various sections of the medical store. An official statement said that he took strict notice of the absence of officers and staff and directed the show cause notices should be issued to them. It said that he stressed that absence from duty as well as late coming would not be tolerated and asked such employees to mend their ways.
The Adviser expressed annoyance at slow pace of work with regard to under-construction Consultants' Rooms and directed that work be speeded up. He directed the Senior Medical Officer that there should be adequate cooling in the medical store besides proper cleanliness and medical facilities for the patients. Saeed Ghani said that the Labour Department is committed to ensure basic facilities to workers.
