Market Committee Issues Price List Of Vegetables, Fruits

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -22nd Augst,2016) : The Islamabad Market Committee on Monday issued the daily price list of vegetables and fruits. According to a spokesman, the rate list of vegetables in Islamabad except for Jinnah Super, Super and Kohsar Markets is as under: Potato per kilogram is Rs 38, Onion Rs 30, Tomato 42, Ginger Rs 90, Garlic (China) Rs 270, Garlic Desi 255, Lemon Rs 88, Lady Finger Rs 44, Green Zucchini Rs 64, Pumpkin Rs 45, Brinjal Rs 33, Peas Rs 160, Farsh Bean Rs 64, Tanda Desi Rs 72, Cucumber Rs 36, Capsicum Rs 76/60, Green Chilli Rs 32, Cauliflower Rs 85/65, Cabbage Rs 45, Bitter gourd Rs 55, Spinach Rs 30/22, Turnip Rs 62, Yam Rs 55, Maroo Rs 55, Turnip Rs 62, Carrot Rs 98, Chicken Rs 122 and Egg per dozen Rs 102.
Likewise, he said that rates of fruits per kilogram of high and medium quality in Islamabad are as follows: Apple Gaja Rs 86/60, Apple China Rs 200/160, Apple New Zealand Rs 265/230, Banana Pak Rs 78/48, Pear China Rs 160/125, Grapes 150/130, Peer Desi Rs 72/50, Peach Rs 90/65, Mango Najri Rs 70/50, Mango Nawabpuri Rs 110/80, Mango Chaunsa White Rs 118/85, Mango Chaunsa Black Rs 62/48 and Mango Ratool Rs 105/70. The spokesman has asked all the people to follow this list and inform authorities at 051-4867762 in case of any compliant against shopkeepers.
