13 Ill Children Evacuated From Syria's Besieged Madaya: Doctors

BEIRUT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th August, 2016) : Thirteen sick children were among 18 people evacuated by the Red Crescent from the besieged Syrian town of Madaya on Friday, a doctor that was treating them told AFP.
A convoy "is headed towards Damascus where the patients will receive treatment," said Mohammad Darwish, adding that the operation was completed "in coordination with the United Nations.
" The cases included children with meningitis and malnutrition and two babies with blood poisoning.
