Drive against power pilferage; 3 held, 35 direct hooks removed

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th August, 2016) : The PESCO team on Friday continued drive against illegal use of electricity and removed 35 direct hook and arrested three persons. Warsak-2 sub division's teams under the supervision of SDO Nadir Wali along with PESCO Police checked different areas at Warsak Road and Tehkal Payan and removed 35 direct hooks while FIRs lodged against 3 persons using direct hooks from LT Line.

A fine of Rs 360,000 was imposed against the three arrested persons, PESCO spokesman said adding that drive against illegal use of electricity and direct hooks would continue till elimination of power theft.
