IIUI mulls centers for students, special persons

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Augst,2016) : International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI) is mulling to establish a center of education for special persons and an advisory council for the students of the university to guide them about future in various professions. This was said by IIUI President, Dr.

Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh while administering the oath to newly elected executive body of University Staff Welfare Association (USWA) on Thursday. University is keen to disseminate Islam's message of peace and moderation, said the IIUI President.

He felicitated the newly elected members and hoped that they will prove that they were the right choice of a large number of varsity employees. "IUI is heading towards a destination of success and achievements of its lofty goals, it's becoming possible with the united efforts by the administration academic staff and university employees" said Dr.

Al-Draiweesh. Speaking on the occasion, Member Council of Islamic Ideology, Ali Muhammad Turab said that IIUI was a unique institution which was providing quality education to the students of Muslim countries.

He also hailed the IIUI President for his efforts regarding progress of the university. Sajjad Qamar, Coordinator to Minister of Religious Affairs said in his speech that IIUI was an exemplary institution which had been providing best education integrated with teachings of islam to the young minds of Muslim world.

He opined that IIUI's scholars could be a source of solutions of national issues and assured maximum support in conveying all positive suggestions to the government. Muhammad Tariq Khan, USWA President said that the association was a bridge between employees and the IIUI leadership.

He also shared the vision, problems and performance of the association. Sardar Hussain Khan, General Secretary USWA also addressed the ceremony and apprised the IIUI President about the problems of employees and thanked him for continued support. The event was also addressed by former USWA President Chaudhry Muhammad Nazir, Additional General Secretary Muhammad Rafi and others.
