Three- Day Anti- Polio Campaign To Begin From Aug 29

NAUSHAHRO FEROZE,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Augst,2016) : The Three-Day Polio eradication campaign would be launched from August 29. This was announced by Deputy Commissioner Dr. Wasim Ali while chairing a meeting which held at DC office to review the arrangements made for campaign.

DC directed the officials of Health Department to take strict action against Polio staff found negligent. Dr.

Fida Hussain Memon, the district focal person, while briefing the meeting said that more than 292900 children of below the age of five years would be administered anti- polio drops for which, 619 mobiles teams, 65 fixed points and 38 transit points are formed.

He said that if the target will not be achieved than one day catch up drive will be conducted. Additional Deputy Commissioner-II, Jamaludin, District Health officials, all Assistant Commissioners and other concerned officials attended the meeting.
