US Deputy Economic Counsellor Calls On Chairperson SBI

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Augst,2016) : Deputy Economic Counsellor, American Consulate in Islamabad, Edwin Saeger along with Economic Officer of US Consulate-Karachi, Frank Talluto called on Chairperson Sindh Board of Investment (SBI), Naheed Memon at her office here.
Economic Specialist of US Consul General Office Fahad Zaidi and Director Administration Abrar Ahmed Sheikh was also present on the occasion, said a statement on Friday. Naheed Memon said that Sindh government intends to extend every possible cooperation for promotion of investment in Sindh and further improving the relations with the US investors. She informed them that the SBI wants to organise a business opportunity conference with the cooperation of US Consulate to brief the US investors pertaining to investment opportunities in Sindh.
She called upon the US investors to explore the investment opportunities in agriculture, automobile, education and other sectors. She told them that the investors are being provided many incentives in the special economic zones in Sindh province. She advised the US envoy to work jointly and also organise more meetings in this regard. Talking to the Chairperson SBI, Edwin Saeger assured his full cooperation for promotion of US investment in Sindh.
