Weekly Book Bazaar Starts At PAL

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Augst,2016) : A two-day weekly book bazaar was started here at the premises of Pakistan academy of Letters (PAL) on Friday. The publishers and book sellers of twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi have set- up their stalls at weekly book bazaar. The bazaar will be opened at 9 am and conclude on 7 pm in evening for two-days.Books on various subjects are available at the bazaar on discounts rates.
The Academy is making efforts to promote book reading culture in the country. The Academy invited students and general public to get books on discounted rates from the bazaar. An official of PAL told APP that reading books provided new ideas, introduce to the reader new things and enable them to embellish writings and speech. "There is need that awareness campaigns for advantages of book readings should be continued," he added.
