National Ranking Badminton Tournament In Full Swing

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th August, 2016) : Azeem Sarwar, Irfan Saeed, Amir Saeed and Murad Ali breezed into the semi-finals of All Pakistan Nationl Ranking Badminton Tournament after winning their respective matches here on Thursday at Gymnasium Hall near National Hockey Stadium. In the semi-finals, Irfan Saeed will meat Azeem Sarwar and Murad Ali will play Amir Saeed on Friday. Palwasha Bashir, Sidra Hamid, Sehra Akram and Khizra Rasheed moved into the semi-finals of Women Singles after registering victories against their opponents.
Palwasha Bashir will take on Sidra Hamid and Sehra Akram will clash Khizra Rasheed. In the Men Doubles semi-finals, Irfan Saeed and Azeem Sarwar (Wapda) will play Hashir Bashir and Murad Ali and Kashif Sulhari and Kashif Majeed will play Aoun Abbas and Soban Jamil. In the Women Doubles semi-finals, Khizra Rasheed and Sidra Hamid (Wapda) will play Mahnoor Shahzad and Sara Mohmand and Ghazala Saddique and Javeria Tahir (SNGPL) will face off with Saima Waqas and Palwasha Bashir. (Women Singles Quarter Finals) Women Singles 1st Quarter Final Palwasha Bashir (NBP) beat Mahoor Shahzad (Wapda) by 23/21, 21/14, 2nd Quarter Final Sidra Hamid (Wapda) beat Ghazala Saddique (SNGPL) by 21/17, 21/13, 3rd Quarter Final Sehra Akram (Wapda) beat Saba Mughal (Wapda) 21/17, 21/16, 4th Quarter Final Khizra Rasheed (Wapda) beat Saima Waqas (Wapda) 21/14, 23/21.
