ISLAMABAD, (Pakistan Point News - 18th August, 2016) : PML-N leader Talal Choudhary said on Thursday that the incumbent government had reinvigorated the Kashmir issue as previous governments had forgotten it completely. Talking to a private news channel, He said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had been talking about Kashmiris' right since long and any statement by any minister in this regard implies the clear policy of the government. "PM Sharif has raised this issue on all important int'l forums and has been emphasizing over it more vigorously from the last 2 months," he added.
He said PM Sharif had raised this issue in the UN that was being ignored by previous governments, adding now India was ready to talk on the issue while earlier it was reluctant with a view point that Kashmir was not a dispute at all. "Our leadership has taken a clear position and sent a strong message to India in this regard", he added. He said Kashmir issue would definitely be discussed in dialogues with India.
