Polish, Thai Delegations Call On Secy Defence Production

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th August, 2016) : Delegations of Poland and Thailand Thursday called on Secretary Defence Production Lt Gen (Retd.) Syed Muhammad Owais in Rawalpindi. During separate meetings with the delegations, matters pertaining to bilateral interests and further promoting cooperation in the field of defence production came under discussion, said a press release. The Polish delegation was led by Deputy Minister for National Defence Bartosz Kownaeki.
The two sides agreed that increased contacts between the two countries would help explore more ways and means for joint ventures in the defence sector, underlining the need for further developing military-to- military cooperation at every level.
While in the meeting between the Thai defence delegation, led by Director General of Defence Industry and Energy Centre General Sorasak Knowkrajany and the Secretary Defence, both the sides agreed that there existed a 'wide scope' of close cooperation in several projects and diverse areas.
