Locals Welcome Azadi Train At Wazirabad

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Augst,2016) : Hundreds of locals gathered at the Railway station of Wazirabad on Thursday to welcome the beautiful Azadi Train, which is on a month-long journey across the country as part of Independence Day celebrations.
Majority of the people visited the Azadi Train galleries during its short stay and appreciated the illuminated floats by the professional artists. The art and culture work of floats depicting the culture and art of all four provinces was source of attraction for most of the visitors.
A large number of school students also visited the train and took pictures with the displayed scientific and cultural models of different provinces. Talking to APP, Azadi Train Incharge Operation, Sajid Bashir Raja said the next destination of Azadi train is Gujranwala where special train would stay for five hours.
Later, he added, the train will depart for Lahore and stay there for three days.
The art and culture work was done by art team led by Chief Designer Muhammad Azeem Iqbal. While other team members were included on Sara Azeem Khan a renowned Art Designer.
Waqar Ali was the Graphic Designer. Azeem Iqbal said that the art work was done by the team during the one month. The art team worked day and night to complete the work before August 14.
Other team members included Coordinator Naeem ud Din and others Truck and Rickshaw art experts like M Irfan, Muhammad Ijazullah, Abrar Ahmad, Sajjad and Muhammad Habib. The wood work and embroidery work specialists included Abdul Hafiz, M Hafeez, Arshad Ali and Jawwad Ahmed.
The Painters of Azadi Train included Yunis Rumi, Junaid Shah, M Zafran and Irshad Ali. Ahmed Habib was also among the Decorator of Azadi Train and Salahudin was the Model Artist.
