CDA Ready To Launch Monsoon Tree Planation Drive

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Augst,2016) : Capital Development Authority (CDA), has finalized the arrangements for upcoming Monsoon Tree Plantation drive scheduled to be launched on August 24. Talking to APP, Member Environment CDA Sanaullah Aman said that authority will make the drive successful with public participation from all walks of life. He said during the campaign 300,000 saplings of different species would be planted in the city.
Special arrangements have been made to ensure the proper growth of the saplings to be planted to enhance green image of the Federal Capital, he added.
Member Environment said that famous personalities, celebrities from showbiz and other areas are also expected to participate in the launching ceremony.
He said some 15,000 fruit trees would also be planted at Lake View Park. Aman also directed the formations to take consolidated steps to ensure survival of the maximum saplings.
