Illegal Drive Against Power Pilferage Continues

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th August, 2016) : The Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) making the campaign more rigorous against illegal use of electricity on Wednesday removed 36 direct hooks, lodged FIRs against three accused.

PESCO spokesman said that following the directives of Chief Executive to gear up drive power pilferage throughout the province, PESCO teams under the supervision of WasimUllah, SDO Lala sub division checked various premises in the areas of Lala Kili, Kala Kili and Dawa Kili along with PESCO Police and removed 36 direct hooks while three persons were arrested over direct hooks from LT Line and FIRs were lodged. PESCO warned illegal consumers to stop power pilferage otherwise strict legal action is being taken against the arrested accused.
