In Search Of Justice Holds Function In Connection With Independence Day

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th August, 2016) : In Search of Justice, a welfare organization arranged a cake cutting ceremony in connection with Independence Day in Peshawar Press Club.

The function was arranged to highlight sacrifices and struggle of Muslims for creation of a separate homeland in subcontinent, said a press release issued here.

The function among others was attended by civil society members and large number of journalists. Speaking at the occasion, Chairperson of the organization, Salma Malik said that it was imperative to remember services rendered by our forefather for new motherland as it would give us orientation to unite for the greater interests of our motherland. She said that we should shun our difference and join hands for progress and prosperity of Pakistan and welfare of its people.

He also appreciated the role of journalists' community for the country.
